It's been a good run, I would say, since this sim was suppose to fold over a year ago.
It's sad really, aside from the Requiem Squadron...Striker was the most unique game (yes, I said game...I'm an old role player) in Bravo Fleet. Others tried to do similar things...But, they tended to fail.
It had to do with the fact that, even in it's original form, Striker was a game centered around the ground pounders...the Grunts.
This was a game, where the grunts didn't sit in their section of the ship and wait for the story to include them (while going to the lounge, just to be in the story at all).
No.
They were the story!

I want to thank Steve, who created Striker...If you ever need a legacy in Bravo Fleet (I know that you don't)...This would be it.
Also, there's James...The man who helped make the Rangers what they are (and set me straight, when I went in a goofy direction). You and Steve are the Roddenberry's of the Star Trek Grunt type sim, all I can do, is, when I create another Ranger Unit on another sim or as a stand alone sim...Well, I have to follow your lead!
I also want to thank the lurkers...The fact that I could look to see who was reading our posts and...it was about 30 a day (we had a few regulars too)...It told me that we weren't boring.
Last...I would like to thank those that played in this unique game (both before and after I joined). You, are really the people who made Striker what it was!
So, for now, until Pro Boards deletes this site (though as of this post, another player and I, are finishing the last mission), Striker will be an archive for the curious.
Again everyone, Thank You.
