Hey Everyone,
I just want you to know what your characters are...
Tonight, I'm going to handle the easy part...The GRUNT part.
Before we go into this, I want to tell you a little about me, your GM...A zillion years ago...during peace time...I was in the United States Marine Corps.
I was in 1/1, or the First Battalion, First Marines, First Marine Division.
Yer probably sayin'. Who cares...And... I would say the same thing, but...
When I was in, our CO and XO, and quite a few of Gunnery sergeants were former Force Recon....and they did their very best, given their budget, to form us in their likeness.
When they got done with us:
The concept of losing didn't exist...We were chasing tanks into bogs...We were capturing opposing unit's recon detachments on the first night...it went down hill for our opponents from then on.
I know, that I was never in Special Forces...But, I think I may have come close enough for our game.
=============================================================================================
On earth, all Rangers should be able to sneak up to a deer and slap it in the butt.
This is a start, I will add to it as time goes by

How We Recruit:
Though we recruit liberally from the SF Marine Corps, Rangers are not Marines. Not all Rangers are ex-Marines.
Everyone is hand picked.
Also, there are no recruiting offices for the Rangers...Prospective candidates are secretly invited. It's don't call us...Maybe we'll call you.

I have to say first off, Thank you for your service. OOH-RAH and Semper Fi. I'm looking at enlisting in the Corps myself. Any info/help for a hopeful recruit would be nice and useful Also, you must remember one thing, there is no such thing as an Ex-Marine. I have had several friends who have served in the Corps, and I have one who is currently serving Embassy duty over seas.
